Germany’s Federal Cartel Office says Google is now under its surveillance for five years, opening the company up to quicker and tougher regulation — Alphabet Inc. and its Google unit are subject to Germany’s new regulation targeting large digital companies, the nation’s Federal Cartel Office ruled.
